MEET OUR TEAM
Pam Ray
Founder & CEO
Building STEAM Bridges Empowers Workforce Readiness by addressing the economic and human impact of a rapidly changing 21st century economy. It is inspired by Pam’s desire to create a prosperous economic future for our children, communities, and country.
She started down this path over a decade ago when she discovered that her son's 20th century education did not prepare him for the 21st century job markets. (SKILLS GAPS) On the heels of paradigm economic shifts came an anxiety crisis that started to show up in the workforce & landed at her own front door - with her daughter. (MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA)
Pam leads with a solution-oriented vision, communicates with authenticity, and equips leaders with tools to build bridges that promote workforce readiness. She combines her role as a seasoned advocate and policy guru, a successful entrepreneur and passionate parent along with her strengths in leadership, collaboration and building partnerships to take on a transformative time in our economy, education, and job markets.
I am Super Thankful
for the Creative and Talented Teamwork

Jamie Nicholas
Terese Schlachter
Jamie Nicholas has been in the printing business for 40 years. She has worked as a press operator, graphic designer, preflight specialist, and sales representative. After selling her last business, Jamie decided to expand, and offer her clients more than just 2 color small format printing.
Since 2006, Jamie Nicholas Printing & Graphics has offered clients a single, trusted source for all their print management needs—whether it's a corporate brochure, a direct mail piece, signage...or all of the above.
Jamie also is an avid animal advocate and works with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue as the Cat program foster coordinator, and educator with the National Kitten Coalition where she teaches volunteers and staff for local rescues and shelters how to care for neonate kittens. She also fosters kittens and puppies, and shares her home with her spouse, 3 cats, 2 dogs, an African Grey parrot and a koi pond.
Terese Schlachter is Chief Story Teller at Ridgeback Communications, which specializes in video production, and good old fashioned well-written sentences. Before she anointed herself Chief of RC, she was an Emmy-winning documentary producer for the Department of Defense. Before that she covered politics and other stuff for NBC News in Washington. She lives in “The Shady Side” of Maryland enjoying views of South Creek along with her new-to-her husband and two beautiful and sassy…wait for it…Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.
